Our Vision & Purpose
Through extensive community consultation, Aṉangu across all communities in the NPY region have clearly shared their priorities and concerns.
These priorities form the cornerstone for our work, which we are advancing in close collaboration with Aṉangu families, local communities, service providers and Government.
You can read more about the Empowered Communities National model in the Design Report here.
The Design Report was published in 2015 following 18 months of engagement and design work by Indigenous leaders, communities and organisations across the Empowered Communities regions.

Our Members & Partners
Our members are advocates, service providers, land councils, enterprises and employment providers who deliver valuable programs that maintain the land, health, culture and well-being of our communities.
With Aṉangu at the centre of our work, we believe that through the Empowered Communities partnership, we are stronger in speaking up for empowerment and change in the region.
Empowered Communities seeks to create a genuine and balanced partnership between Indigenous organisations, Government and corporate Australia, where everybody is working together on a level playing field towards a shared strategy.
