Kiwirrkurra

Kiwirrkurra is a small community in WA in the Gibson Desert about 850km west of Alice Springs. The community lies within the Ngaanyatjarra Council area, although outside of the boundary of the Ngaanyatjarra Lands. Kiwirrkurra has been described as the most remote community in Australia. According to ABS Census (2021), there are171 people residing in Kiwirrkurra and their main languages are Pintupi, Manyjilyjarra & Kukatja
