Pukatja/Ernabella

Pukatja/Ernabella is in the north west of South Australia, in the Musgrave Ranges about 30 km south of the Northern Territory border. It lies approximately 330kms south west of Alice Springs and approximately 25kms north of Umuwa. According to the ABS 2021 Census, there were 519 people residing in Pukatja/Ernabella. Languages spoken in Pukatja/Ernabella are pitjantjatjara, western arrarnta, and warlpiri.
