Aṉangu face significant barriers to employment in the NPY region as they navigate a thin labour market, and deal with the challenges of finding work environments that are supportive and sensitive to their cultural and family responsibilities.

That’s why we’ve begun a new Aṉangu-led research project called ‘The Story of Work’, which will explore, discover and discuss cross cultural solutions to secure better job outcomes for Aṉangu in the NPY region.

The project is led by young emerging leaders, who are working together, involving their communities and using their voice to re-write the Story of Work for Aṉangu.
